  4. Planning and architecture come first, same as always. AI speeds up the coding that follows, but the thinking behind scope, edge cases, scale and security still happens up front, and gets more attention, not less.

  5. Our development and QA teams get to work. Senior developers use our AI agent workflows to accelerate the build, but every line is written under, and reviewed by, a human. CRIT is a simple four-step framework for structuring those prompts so the AI has enough to go on, questions you before it guesses, and delivers something close to what you actually needed the first time.

The four steps of CRIT

  • C — Context:

    Set the scene for the AI. Explain your situation, who the output is for, and what you're trying to achieve.

  • R — Role:

    Assign the AI a specific expert persona or point of view to respond from.

  • I — Interview:

    Ask the AI to question you first, one at a time, before it commits to a final answer.

  • T — Task:
