Working with different market places required different testing mechanisms. Additionally receiving a response back from a marketplace in a different language made it a bit challenging to determine if the intended logic was working accurately. In order to combat this we had to implement additional checks to make sure that the response is in the correct format which the system expects and requires to process the logic correctly.

Challenges

A big goal of the software platform is to avoid bot detection. In other words when PageRadar was checking the URLs, it needed to do so in a manner that mimicked a human doing so. To overcome this challenge, we implemented an intelligent algorithm that spaces out requests to mimic human-like behaviour.
